About Me – The Story Behind License 18
A Journey of Transformation, A Life of Holding Space
Healing is not just something I offer—it’s something I’ve lived. My journey has been one of deep transformation, resilience, and discovery, leading me here: to License 18, where I hold space for others to step through their own thresholds of healing and self-discovery.
The Path That Led Me Here
My story is not one of linear progress—it’s one of twists, upheavals, and awakenings. At 18 years old, I became a father. It was the first moment I truly understood transformation—the moment life demanded that I step into something bigger than myself. Responsibility. Growth. A new identity.
For years, I did what I had to do—providing, working, showing up. I spent time in the corporate world, successful on the outside but deeply unfulfilled on the inside. I was moving through life, but something was missing. Then, in 2007, everything changed.
A severe mountain biking accident shattered my body. Crushed vertebrae. Broken ribs. A fractured clavicle. The pain was immense, but the emotional weight was heavier. The physical injuries were obvious—the deeper wounds were buried beneath the surface. I felt lost in my own body.
And then, I found Structural Integration. Or maybe, it found me.
Through this bodywork, I didn’t just heal—I reclaimed myself. The experience was so profound that I knew I couldn’t just walk away from it. I left the corporate world, trained in the very work that had changed my life, and dedicated myself to helping others find the same liberation in their bodies.
The Psychedelic Path – A Deeper Layer of Healing
But healing isn’t just physical. Even after my body had recovered, I could feel that something deeper remained unresolved. Old traumas. Unspoken grief. The stories my body still carried.
That’s when psilocybin entered my life.
At first, I was skeptical. I had spent years working with the physical body, structure, and alignment. But psychedelics? That was another realm entirely. Still, something called to me.
And so, I stepped into the unknown.
My first psilocybin journey was nothing short of profound. It showed me what I had buried. It helped me access emotions I had locked away for decades. It cracked me open.
I felt emotions I didn’t even realize I had been suppressing.
I saw how my body had been holding trauma, even after years of bodywork.
I realized healing isn’t just something we think about—it’s something we embody.
Through this work, I discovered a new layer of somatic intelligence, a new way to help people reconnect to themselves. And that’s when I knew: This is what I was meant to do.
I immersed myself in psychedelic education, training with some of the most respected programs available. I became a Certified Psychedelic Facilitator through the rigorous 12-month Vital Program with Psychedelics Today. I obtained my Somatic Psychedelic Facilitation Certification, bridging the gap between mind and body. I earned my Natural Medicine Facilitator License in the State of Colorado—the very first state to legalize this groundbreaking work.
And when I received my official license, I was assigned License #18.
It was another threshold moment. A symbol. A calling. A full-circle moment in my own journey of transformation.
What I Offer – The Space I Hold
My work is not just about sitting with people during a psychedelic experience. It’s about guiding them through the entire process—from preparation, to journey, to integration.
✔️ I believe in deep preparation. Healing starts before the journey begins.
✔️ I believe in the power of the experience itself. Trusting the medicine. Surrendering to the process.
✔️ I believe in integration as the key to lasting transformation. Without it, the insights fade.
And above all, I believe in YOU. Your body’s wisdom. Your mind’s capacity for healing. Your soul’s innate ability to find its way home.
This is not therapy. This is not just facilitation.
This is an experience—an intentional, guided process designed to help you step through the threshold into a deeper, more connected version of yourself.
License 18 – A Threshold for Transformation
So why License 18?
Because 18 has followed me my entire life.
✔️ At 18, I became a father. My first transformation.
✔️ 18 years ago, my accident led me to bodywork. Another transformation.
✔️ Now, as License 18, I guide others through their own transformations.
In numerology, 18 represents completion, transition, and new cycles.
In Tarot, 18 is The Moon—the symbol of the subconscious, the unknown, and deep journeys.
In Jewish mysticism, 18 represents "Chai"—the word for life itself.
For me, License 18 isn’t just a number. It is a message. It is alignment. It is my path.
